Wildebeest Migration is the movement of vast numbers of the Serengeti’s wildebeest, accompanied by large numbers of zebra, and other animals. These move in an annual pattern that is fairly predictable. This tour leads you to visit all the parks of the Tanzania Northern Safari circuit (including 3 days in the Serengeti which is the ideal time frame).

Arrival to Kilimanjaro Airport/ Arusha Airport
Upon arrival to the Airport our Professional driver guide will be there at Kilimanjaro International airport to pick you and after finishing the Immigration formalities, you will together set out and drive towards Arusha town for Dinner and Overnight. In case your flight arrives earlier we can organize for you a city tour or a day hike to Mount Meru Waterfalls or you can choose to spend the day at leisure.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After morning breakfast, you will together set out and drive towards Tarangire National Park, you will enjoy a full day of game drives in this lovely and amazing home of Elephants and the great Baobab trees. Here you will have unique experience seeing nature combine with original way of life of Masai. Tarangire offers unparalleled game viewing, and during the dry season elephants abound. Families of the pachyderms play around the ancient trunks of baobab trees and strip acacia bark from the thorn trees for their afternoon meal.
Breathtaking views of the Masai Steppe and the mountains to the south make a stop at Tarangire a memorable experience, enjoy game drive till late in the evening with your private guide who will set a great spot for your picnic set up.
Later afternoon drive to the Camp for Camp fire, Dinner and Overnight at Lake Burunge Tented Camp.
Day 3
Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will set out again with picnic lunch heading to Lake Manyara National Park, you will enjoy a full day of game drives in this park. This National Park is one of Tanzania’s most considerably situated wildlife areas. The Park is located at the foot of Great Rift Valley Western Escarpments. The Park offers variety of habitats, that is; Underground water forest, Baobab strewn cliffs, Acacia woodlands, water forests, Algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the Soda ash Lake Manyara itself, rich in Flamingos. Despite the lake being small in size it does supports large numbers of animal species and absurd bird’s life. Lions present in this park are well known for their tree climbing character, also compared to other parks in the world Lake Manyara has the huge troops of Baboons.
Evening drive to Tloma Lodge for check in, Dinner and Overnight.
Day 4
Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, set out again with picnic lunch and drive towards Serengeti National Park, you will enjoy a full day of game drives in this park, pass through high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend towards the endless plains of Serengeti National Park.
Drive towards the central Serengeti area. This is one of the areas in the park rich in wildlife habitats. The area is well known as Seronera and it features the Seronera River, a very valuable source of water in the central Serengeti. Large numbers of Serengeti wildlife species are attracted by this river. We arrive on time for lunch and then later on enjoy the afternoon game drive within Serengeti National Park.
Late evening drive to Serengeti Kati Kati Camp for check in, Dinner and Overnight.
Day 5
Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will set out again with picnic lunch and enjoy a full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park; enjoying game drives through all ends of the Northern side of Serengeti National Park where the herds are expected to be, your private guide will set a great spot for your picnic set up.
The Serengeti “endless plains” has 6,900 sq. mile (18,000 sq. km) and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances. It is the home of the Great Migration and to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes. As for Big Cats and large predators, it’s the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous river crossings having been filmed in this park.
Later evening drive to the Camp. All meals and overnight at Mara Kati Kati Camp.
Day 6
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Morning game drive always got something to offer! After breakfast depart to enjoy morning game drive, followed by lunch at the Lodge. Later depart heading to Ngorongoro Crater enjoying game drive en route to Ngorongoro crater.
Later proceed to West Ngorongoro areas – Oldupai Gorge, one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world. The site is significant in showing the increasing developmental and social complexities in the earliest humans, or hominins, largely revealed in the production and use of stone tools.
Evening proceeds to Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 7
Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Eyasi
Today we will start our day very early and descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning game drive in one of the most stunning places on Earth.
We will descend over 600 meters into Ngorongoro crater, the breath-taking natural wonder. Ngorongoro Crater supports a gigantic diversity of animals due to yearly round water and food supply; this comprises herds of Wildebeest, Buffalo, Zebra, Hippos, African Elephants, Eland and Warthogs. The Parks is unique too due to its intense population of predators such as; Lions, Jackals, Cheetahs, Hyenas and mysterious rarely spotted Leopard. On the Southwest corner of the crater lies Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake, described as one of the main features of the crater. The Lake consists of large numbers of Flamingos, Hippos and many other water birds.
Later exits Ngorongoro heading to Lake Eyasi, where you will have unique and fascinating cultural experience the next day.
Later proceed to Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge for Dinner and Ovenight.
Day 8
Lake Eyasi to Arusha
This will be a very special day. You will wake up very early, just before sunrise, and follow your guide until he finds the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last true nomadic tribes in Africa. After some explanations about the tribe, you will join the men in their daily hunting, or the women in their fruit gathering session. In either of them, you will learn about many aspects of the Hadzabe way of living.
Due to the nomadic nature of the Hadzabe tribe, visits with them cannot be absolutely guaranteed, however your guide will do their utmost to arrange this if at all possible. Trekking with this tribe is one of the most fascinating experiences you can do anywhere in East Africa. They are the last of the hunter-gatherer tribes and heading out with them on a hunt really takes you back to a different era.
After finishing the activities with the tribe, we will visit the beautiful Lake Eyasi, a season shallow Salt Lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley.
Later return to Arusha and transferred back to the Airport.
